Albay: Embarcadero de Legazpi

Located in the port district of Legazpi City in the province of Albay, Embarcadero de Legazpi is a premier waterfront establishment in the city.

During the Spanish era, galleons docked in the ports which brings livelihood and wealth to the city and its neighboring towns. Sadly, due to the events that happened in our history, the trade and income flow that once poured in the port area started to diminish. Today, Embarcadero de Legazpi once again brings back the glory to Legazpi's port district with its world-class dining, shopping, and entertainment experiences.

Embarcadero de Legazpi offers more than what usual malls in Manila does. Tourists could enjoy a variety of unique activities and amenities like riding a jet ski, water jeep, and even a helicopter that would take you around the city and even near Mayon Volcano.

Embarcadero de Legazpi also offers a wide range of food choices from its numerous fast food and fine dining restaurants. Due to its natural allure and ambiance, Embarcadero de Legazpi is being likened to the Fisherman's Wharf found in San Francisco, California. Embarcadero de Legazpi opened up several amenities for the thrill seeking and adventurous tourists. You could now try the 350-meter zipline from the lighthouse, kart racing, and the Segway. The Segway are two-wheeled, self-balancing electric vehicles that are said to be the first in the country.
On our recent trip however, I was quite disappointed with how Embarcadero seems to be losing its luster. I noticed that several stores are already closed down. Aside from that it is noticeable that there are few tourists (even locals) in the vicinity. I stayed a bit to see if the nightlife really rocks only to be disappointed. The good part about visiting Embarcadero is that it's a great place to unwind after a long drive.

Overall, your trip to Legazpi City wouldn't be complete without visiting Embarcadero de Legazpi.
