Riel Street in the town proper of Maragondon in the province of Cavite, the Bonifacio Trial House is a historical establishment where the controversial trial of Andres Bonifacio took place. A proposal to unite all the factions into one leadership brought its Supremo - Andres Bonifacio to San Francisco de Malabon (now General Trias) to settle the leadership issue on March 22, 1897. Located in Col. Infante in  Maragondon in the province of Cavite, Maragondon Church is one of the declared National Cultural Treasure of the country. Maragondon Church Maragondon Church History Also known as the  Our Lady of the Assumption Parish Church , Maragondon Church was said to have been built sometime in the 1580s. Like most old churches, it was first constructed using light materials which are of course prone to the damage done by Mother Nature. In 1630, the church was renovated and by this time it got a more elaborate furnishing. Hiking Mt. Nagpatong

Located in Maragondon in the province of Cavite, Mt. Nagpatong is one of the more than 20 peaks of the mountain range in Maragondon . It got its name from the large rock that once rested on top of a smaller rock at its peak. Mt. Nagpatong Mt. Nagpatong Details Mt. Nagpatong is famously known as one of the two mountains where the Filipino hero Andres Bonifacio and his brother Procopio were reportedly executed -the other mountain was Mt. Buntis . However, the Mt. Nagpatong location became the accepted site after the remains said to be of Andres Bonifacio's (or his brother's) was discovered in its vicinity in 1918. However, s ome historians refute this claim due to the lack of forensic evidence and also the missing remains of his brother. Despite the controversies, the said  remains were still brought to the National Library and Museum the same year and passed off as an authentic historical artifact of Andres Bonifacio.
