Singapore: Peninsula Excelsior Hotel

Located at Coleman Street in Singapore, Peninsula Excelsior Hotel is a 4-star hotel located near some of the major tourist spots in the country.

As mentioned, the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel is just a few minutes walk from Fort Canning Park, Clarke Quay and St. Andrew's Cathedral. It is also a few minutes drive from Merlion Park and Marina Bay Sands. Raffles City and Clarke Quay MRT stations are also only a stone throw away from the hotel.

The hotel offers 600 rooms and suites at the most reasonable rates. Each room and suite has elegant furnishings complete with amenities such as Wi-Fi, a cable TV, and a handy smart phone. Yup, you read that right! These smart phones are a huge help for those who need the Google Map App to explore Singapore. Aside from having unlimited 4G internet , these phones can also be used by the guests for unlimited local and international calls (limited to 11 countries only).
Gotta love that comfy bed!

My family and I got a chance to stay in the Peninsula Excelsior Hotel thanks to our close family friends who sponsored our stay there. We loved the our room and the view that we had there. My wife and daughter enjoyed swimming in the "aquarium" pool and the buffet breakfast that they had.

Overall, I highly suggest Peninsula Excelsior Hotel for those who is looking for a place that is in the heart of Singapore tourist area.

Getting there:

Board the East West Line or North South Line trains and board down at the City Hall Station. From there, the hotel is just a few minutes walk away via North Bridge road.

If you have plenty of luggage, I suggest that you take the taxi going to the hotel.
