Japan Diaries 2: Day 2

Day 2 (May 18, 2018)

Woke up to another great morning. The weather was predicted to be fine throughout the day so I brought the kids to the park (actually parks) in the neighborhood first thing in the morning.
Go, Ella!
Let's try out the other playground shall we
Walking back home

After an hour or so Ella and Zaq decided that they had enough playground for the day so we walked back home and arrived just in time for breakfast.
Shopping at Nitori Izumisano

There are plenty of products here that you might want to buy

Since today was the last full day of Zaq and his family in Japan, we accompanied them in their trips to buy pasalubong and souvenirs around Osaka. Our first destination for the day was Nitori (store) in Izumisano. We also bought some Japanese unique products here for our house like the Japanese Style Diatomite Bath Mat and other household and cookware products.
Welcome to Rinku Premium Outlets
Check out those brands
Walking around and checking out all those luxury brands
I spy one of my favorite brands... Can you guess what it is?

There's a nice view of Star Gate Hotel

We then moved to Rinku Premium Outlets also in Izumisano. Although I got to visit this place four years ago, it was only today that I got to explore it thoroughly. There were several luxury products on sale including some G-Shock watches which was really tempting but I decided not to buy anything so that our budget for the next 20 days won't be ruined so I contented myself by just window shopping.
This building really stands tall among others in the area.

Our last destination for the day was the Cosmos Rinku (store). This store is just across the street from the Star Gate Hotel which is the tallest building in the city.
Sundown in Kumatori (Can you see the Star Gate Hotel?)

The highlight of the day was our dinner.  Mr. Toshi cooked what would, later on, be my favorite Japanese dish which I dubbed the Kameyama Sukiyaki (You won't find this anywhere). That dish really made my day. Sadly, I was too busy eating that I failed to document it... (My bad).
